OUR

MISSION

Through our motto “Upcycle. Uplift.” Sew Swag has the goal of fostering self-confidence in those in-need, ensuring that those who receive second-hand clothing never feel second-rate.

Sew Swag Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that transforms damaged and donated apparel into fashionable outfits for the homeless population in the greater Los Angeles area. We provide the clothing and dignity necessary for those in-need to begin the transition off the streets. Through partnerships with other non-profits and shelters, Sew Swag has an extensive range of impact across Southern California.

SUSTAINABILITY

The United States generates over 25 million pounds of textile waste every year. Sew Swag aims to reduce this footprint by upcycling discarded clothing and promoting sustainability.

CORPORATE COLLABORATION

Many apparel companies shred, incinerate, or throw away unsold and damaged merchandise. Sew Swag works with corporations in advancing social responsibility to more directly impact communities.
